Fleeting Encounters is an installation of ink on fabric, used to encapsulate the subtle moment of passing of strangers. Situating myself as an observer, I plan to capture this often forgotten moment in an inclusive and private setting. While giving us time to reflect on the lives of our everyday passersby, this one-sided consideration to an image, incapable of feelings is a reminder that we are also a passer-by, just a stranger admits a sea of people.
Navigating through the fabric, the more one is keen to see, the more they are confronted with, creating narratives by connecting the different imageries. If not, all that is hidden is just as obscure presence, an anonymous crowd.
